Hispanic Heritage Month
As a Minority-Owned Business, NovoaGlobal Celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month
September 15 to October 15 is National Hispanic American Heritage Month
“During National Hispanic Heritage Month, the U.S. government celebrates the countless contributions of more than 60 million Hispanic Americans to our culture and society,” according to the The US Department of State, “Hispanic Americans are the largest minority group in the United States today, and generations of Hispanic Americans have consistently helped make our country strong and prosperous. They contribute to our Nation beyond description. Hispanic Americans embody the best of our American values, including commitment to faith, family, and country.”
The following are currently some of the states in which we are MBE certified: Orlando, Orange County, Osceola County, and the State of Florida, to name a few; State of Illinois; Howard County, Maryland; State of Oregon; North Central Texas Region; and the State of Tennessee. We are adding new certifications regularly.
“As the only MBE company in our industry, we are excited to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month,” said Carlos Lofstedt, President and CEO of NovoaGlobal. “Last year, I had the honor of participating in LBAN, the Latino Business Action Network that collaborates with Stanford University on programs for Latino Entrpreneurs. With LBAN, I had the honor of connecting with many successful minority business CEOs across the United States like myself and gained an immense appreciation of the talented business acumen this group offers across the country. We hope to work with these talented Hispanic-owned companies in the future thus boosting our minority subcontracting ability.”
